Oxford city centre is very popular with students from both universities, because you can access all areas of the city easily from here.

For shopping, the High Street, Cornmarket Street, Queen Street, the Clarendon and Westgate centres are your best bet, and most shops stay open ‘til 8pm on Thursdays. There is also the covered market, which is particularly spectacular at Christmas.
